    What did I do to my legs?

    On the outer part of my upper quad area, feels like the pain is kind of under my quad on the side, like right along my femur from where my buttocks ends all the way to my knees. Hurts like hell to do anything like squats, lunges, leg press,even hurts sometimes to run on it. Doesnt really affect strength, but it definately hurts to do any sort of lateral pushing movement(think of a pitcher pushing off his back leg on the mound to deliver a pitch). Is this an IT band injury?I dont really know what that is but i think some guys on here have had similar symptoms and thats what most were told they had.Whats should i do?

    It sounds like you may have either injured your IT band or Your Tensor Facial Latea (TFL) which is the muscle that the IT band is the aponerotic tendon for. If you lay on your back and flex and adduct you leg across your body with slight flexion of the knee you can stretch the IT band pretty good
    Doc Sus would be a better guy to answer that than me hopefully he comes across this thread. I dont really deal with injuries that much at work. I send my subject and athletes to the trainer
