Bad to do cardio on a cycle???

I was looking into doing my first cycle, the beginners cycle of 12 weeks of test cypionate and to kickstart it with d-bol, from what i've heard the d-bol will give me good gains but some fat and possible bloat as well, I've heard before you shouldnt run or do cardio while on a cycle is this true????

i always do cardio (2 or 3 times a week, 30min), the cardio keeps me lean, the AAS make me big... best of both worlds

Cardio exercises your heart, and helps to keep the fat gain down from all the calories you should be taking.

Hell no, cardio is GREAT for you and IMO a MUST on or off cycle cut or bulk.

I like that advice Wes. Whenever I do anything more intense, I feel like muscle starts melting off and my body starts reverting back to track star (which I don't want).

The first couple cycles I did, I never did much cardio. But now I do it about 3days a week, whether on or off cycle, and I feel much better. Gotta exercise the heart!

Cardio is boring and young people tend to ignore the basics. I did and
regret it. I don't think the first 15 minutes means shit. Do an hour
every day and keep your heart rate between 80% to 90%. Lift weights
while doing cardio it will make the time go faster. Drink protien after.
Cardio is not just for the heart it's for the whole body. I will streamline
your body into a mean machine. Not just a few freaky large muscles.

Listen to your self. Try different things. You will get results or you won't
you are just going to hear thread parrots spew stuff they read.

20 minutes HIIT, POST workout EOD is all you need. Your goal is to blow out the pipes, burn fat, strengthen heart, but NOT lose muscle. 30 mins tops!

Gotta agree here too. If youre doing cardio you want the intensity much lower and no more than 25-30 min at a time. With the higher intensity all you end up doing is burning up important muscle glycogen. Most of the successful bodybuilders I know dont do any cardio at all unless they are going into a contest, its all about diet to stay lean. I suppose not all of us here are wanting to look like bodybuilders though.

Why not just go into the cycle semi lean, and then allow yo tourself gain 10-15 lbs of fat. You could lose 10-15 later in a cutting phase at a gradual pace.

We all have our ways. Just do what works best for your goals. I do
40 week cycles. Test, and taper off and on different things. I try
to stay lean all the time. I don't get shut down and with AI's and
GH things work out very good. I do water sports and need endurance.
When I go off cycle I only loose a few pounds. Sports is a little different
than show. If I was a 25 year old pretty boy. Things might be different.
You are not going to make any money unless you can make the cover
of magazines and promote supplements for the big companies. I am
to old for that but have fun in the South Pacific. Try different things
and maybe your dreams will come true.

Well, at least you are doing it. I was never to enthaused until I started
working out with the crew of a ship. They were form some St. Lucia.
They would do cardio and lift dumbells. They had no idea what aas were
and looked like they could do a dam good job protecting any quarter back.
I lift dumbells EOD on treadmill there are so many exercises that it takes
your mind off the mill. It reduces cholesterol, blood pressure. For me
it works. You have to do what is best for you.

why would you lift dumbells while being on a treadmill???

i mean if you already have a weight lifting program ...why would you try to add weights into your cardio time?? wouldnt you want to keep them apart?

Thanks for the back handed compliment. I just do my thing. Like
some have posted, treadmill is the most boring of all. I just found
a way to make it interesting for myself. Good luck to what ever
you find best for your self.

how can you even do the lifts correctly while on a treadmill.....you must be at a slowing walking pace then.....either that or your lifts are all jacked up.....well w/e im dropping the subject i think this thread is going to go to shit any moment now......

in regards to the original question mattlew62.....i personally think its up to you and how your body feels.....while on a cycle you should either have a kick ass perfect diet or keep your cardio up......but you dont want to cycle and not have one or the other ....but thats my opinion !
