    Sleep

    Hey fellas,

Having a real tough time sleeping at night. Not stressed or anything like that, just plain can not sleep. Last night I was still looking at the clock at 0430. It is affecting everything. I hate the idea of taking sleeping pills since I would grow dependant on them.

You guys have any pointers or ideas w/o use of chems??

    Thanks.

Melatonin is naturally occurring and there is no risk for dependency.

    Just an option.

Get some ambien from your doc, after about a week of taking it, it will reset your clock. If you take it for extended periods of time you will start getting hangovers from it so you will not get dependent on it as easy like over the counter stuff. Hell just try some benedryl that may work for you

i think sublingual melatonin works really well. it's not as hardcore as ambien, but 2mg's under the tongue work well and you gete real sleep.

the trick for me is to take it near the time i'm falling asleep, and then gradually take it sooner. so if i was falling asleep at 3am every night, i would take it at 2:30 for a couple of nights, then 2:00 until i was sleeping a little sooner, then 1:30, and so on.

Try getting on limewire or whatever downloading program you use and type in audio hypnosis. The whole point of basically any hypnosis program is to put your mind at ease and in a relaxed state before starting the hypnosis. I used audio hypnosis programs that were designed to ease you into sleep and typically I was out before the hypnosis part even started.
