Well the other day I was doing some baking, after I was done preparing my quiche....err, uhh, i mean my porterhouse steak!!! I realized I had left my newly purchased $65 tub of whey protein on top of the oven while I was baking. The tub was quite warm on the bottom and Im sure the powder in the lower half of the tub was heated to probably close to 80 or 90 degrees fahrenheit. Ive tried googling what heating does to whey protein but havent found and definitive answers. Is it damaged or still good for consumption? It still tastes fine and everything but I must admit the mixture seems a little clumpier now after liquid is added. Its still $65 so Id like to be able to use it.
