    Measuring lifting from each training

    Well, i`ve started writing down how much weight i lift every single workout, to keep track of progression and that I really am progressing.

    The thing I am wondering about is:

    Example of the end of a 6 week training cycle, im lifting say: 10.000kg total (in one workout).

    And when I begin another 6 week training cycle, I have changed my routine, and I am down to 8.000 kg, because I`ve switched up a few excersizes and, one heavy compound exerzise fell short.

    Will the "KG progression" count when I get into another training cycle.
    Or should I just count for example: 7.000kg for that cycle (and trying to hit higher kgs throughout the training cycle with the same exerzises all the time.

    If I change exersizes, I guess it will not matter what KG I had in the previous training cycle, and I should just try to progress with the next training cycle, and not care about the KG progression in previous.

    Read carefully, don `t answer if you don`t care about this..

    i think your making something simple into something very complicated lol

    personally i think you should get in the gym and give it 110% every exercise every set, keep your diet and rest in check and you will progress

    imo theres no need to stress about tracking kg progression every 6 weeks

    ive never written anything down when i lift, if you need to write stuff down, i just started writing down the reps and weights each week and make sure to increase one or the other the next workout

    but as we know everyone is diff so if something like that will help you focus and progress then take it seriously and track the weight
