Anyone know what this MRI report means?

What the heck does all this mean? I just want to know why Tylenol is not making the pain go away

Small joint effusion present. Small focus of very mild marrow edema seen of the lateral tibial plateau, anterior aspect. This may refeclt a small area of contusion or vascular artifact, which would be of no clinical signifance. Medial and lateral menisci are intact. Partial thinning of the ACL noted anterior, interior aspect, but otherwisw intact. PCL intact. Quadriceps tendon and patellar ligament are intact. MCL and LCL are intact. There is a small bone island of the proximal tibia.

High siginal of the patellar cartilage, lateral aspect, can refelect contusion or chondrosis with no subchondral edema to indicate osteochondral fracture. The patellar retinaculum are intact. No subcutaneous edema. Remaning visualized structures unremarable.

    Impression:
Edema of the patellar cartilage, laterel aspect, representing chondrosis or contuusion, with no frank osteochondral fracture/ Small joint effusion present. No other acute process seen.

it simply means you have a bruised knee with fluid in it. thats it , all your ligaments and muscles are normal, why didnt your Dr explain this to you?

Thanks, I hurt me knee a week before moving to another state, got the MRI done and they sent me a copy of the report but I am to follow up with a doctor where I moved. The problem is I cannot get into a new doc for two weeks and my knee keeps hurting. But if it is just a bruise then I will not bother going to a new doc and wasting a co pay
