My ex's mum went to police the other day asking bout the laws on steroids as she knows i do em and wants me in the shit they said nothing they can do about me using but they would like to know the names of my suppliers lol. i havent seen the police tho my ex's mate told me bout it. so if i got searched and had some deca sust dbol in my pocket they wouldnt do shit to me! Actually the statement above is inaccurate. U.K. law allows you to possess steroids for personal use only, you can also import them as long as they to be used by yourself. This is not a case of the authorities 'turning a blind eye', it is a true fact, tried and tested by myself with both H.M. Customs and my local police force.
It is illigal to distribute them though, and this can result in a custodial sentence.

These are ya simple rules in the UK....
Get caught with enough for personal use AND its pharm grade = ya fine.
Get caught with enough for personal use BUT its ugl / home-brew = Caution + Confiscation
Get caught with enough to supply of either pharm grade / ugl / home-brew = Custodial
Keep to these rules and you'll be fine

hmmm bit of a grey area i guess,i wouldnt like to walk into a cop shop with my stash to find out,i know if ur deemed to be dealing then it will be treated as class c but im not too savvy on rec drugs so im not entirely sure what that means or the kind of punishment u could expect

Nobody gives 2 shits over here if you own and use steroids unless you're distributing and dealing them, because steroids are a schedule 4 drug over here (as opposed to schedule 3 in the USA). Go read the CDSA (Controlled Drugs And Substances Act) for Canada, where under Schedule 4 drugs it says:
Schedule IV: It is not an offence to possess a Schedule IV substance for personal use; however, Subsection (2) of Section (4) of the CDSA states that "no person shall seek or obtain a sustance or authorization from a practitioner to obtain a substance in schedules I through IV." Subsection (7) then states that it is an indictable offence to contravene subsection (2). Ergo, it is an indictable offence to attempt to acquire a Schedule IV substance but not an offence for possession. Section 5 provides that possession for the purpose of trafficking of a Schedule IV substance is an offence.

EDIT: Actually, just about 2 weeks ago my buddy was pulled over by the pigs and they searched his vehicle looking for drugs. They found 10 vials of test, 500 tablets of Turinabol, and 8 amps of HCG. Wanna know what the cops did? Nothing. They didn't find any other drugs so they just let him go. They can't bust him for having that in his posession because it's not illegal. It didn't even cross the cops' minds.
Now lets say if they had found reciepts or evidence that he was going to sell that stuff to someone, the situation would have been different.

Nope, don't think so. I read the whole CDSA recently and they didn't list amounts for 'personal' use. You could have a whole warehouse full of gear and as long as you're just using it for yourself and not selling or distributing it to others, you're fine.

Some members have stated that UGL AAS are deemed to be illigal and pharm produced ones are not. That is not the case, ther origin of the durg is irellivent, it is the ammount in your possession which makes the difference.
Personal use, there are no set rules here. This would depend upon the individual and upon the officer dealing with you, and ultimately the court would have to decide. If you are a professional BB then what you could pass off as personal would far outweigh what an average person could get away with. The key is to be sensible, 2/3 cycles worth should be tollerated. Have the proposed cycles in your head or written down, this infomation could then be given to the officer, who would then be informed enough to make a decision as to weather or not you should be dealt with as a user or a dealer.
I have only heard of a very few people in the UK who have been prosecuted for supplying AAS and they have all ben found in possession of copious ammounts. Dont go over the top and you will be fine.

I have had one half full 20ml bottle of home-brew test enth confiscated by the police about 2 years ago in a random stop n search when i had a break light out on my car..
Am now thinkin i got ripped off by the law....

There is no doubt that the confiscation was illigal.
If the officer issued you with the relevant confiscation notice then you could take action, if he/she did'nt (as I suspect may be the case?) then you will struggle.
At least you will know for next time!
