getting engaged sunday, scared to death

well i have been MIA for a while, life has been busy for me, work has been crazy and i am giving in and getting engaged sunday, we have been together for 3.5 years so i guess it is about time, scared as hell. not sure why. she is great we get along well, but i just have always had such a commitment phobia that it freaks me out, anyone else nervous before they poped the question?

it is funny how this scares me like i am a 3 year old afraid of the monster in my closet. i know i have nothing to fear, but forever is such a long time and no one ever knows what the future hold, i guess that is life, there is always an uncertain future ahead for all of us. so fcuk it, i am going to take the risk and let the card fall where they may and let the future write itself.

yep i have similar symptoms, i had to ask her dad the other day for permission, that sucked. it was just akward, i used a sneak attack and showed up out of the blue, which i have never done ever. never been to their house by myself. any way, i get in there tell the guy my ruse , that i am not there for social visit, tell him i want to marry his daughter, looks at me and says " as long as you know marriage is forever" i said i know and i am ok with it(but after he said this it made my stomach twist a little bit) and than he said "ok, fine by me. do you want to watch the new die hard movie with me and have a snadwich?" so i said took him up on the offer kicked back and felt ok about the whole thing,

i will try to not let it get the better of my whoring! lol!! no i have been busy with work,i have two offices now and it is hard to manage both of them, continue training for powerlifting, time with he old lady, etc etc, i am going to make a better effort to get online at least once a day

i was thinking at about 7am blowing an airhorn and throwing a bucket of water at her and scream "tsunami"!!!! than she will freak out and scream at me, and than i say look under the pillow and the ring is there. i know this in sane, but you have to understandshe has pulled SO many pranks on me and scared the hell out of me for 3.5 years, i never retaliated ever, so i figure this one is the grand master of comebacks and i cant get in trouble. after project tsunami is over, she has the ring, than i will take her to another bedroom in the house, and have breakfest in bed waiting for her. i asked so many people how they did it, and everyone had the same boring story, i wanted to do something crazy and off the wall that would be rembered. yes it is insane, but if you know me, you know that i am 100% insane LOL!
