Hey Guys, Just need a lil feedback

Hi everyone, i am 19 at 5' 8" 205, I have been working out consistently for about 4 years. My background is football and wrestling, so my style of workout until recently has been power/strength training. I have been playing with my diet which i feel is fairly good, but i would like to know how i can cut up without losing muscle and significant strength? And also please let me know what areas i need to work on.

    Thanks

Oh, you should probably post it in the diet section.

Well i dont eat the exact same foods everyday but my calorie intake is the same. I eat 5 times a day... each meal is 45-50 grams of protein and i taper my carbs through out the day going from 80 grams in the morning to 30 grams at dinner... then 15 grams of glutamine before bed.

Im going to post some better pics, i feel these make me look bloated... haha

overall especially for 19 you have a good thick base, biceps are a strong point, arms in general. I would say your shoulders are a weak point, not underdeveloped or small by any means, but as far as shape and roundness, and seperation from your arms from the front and side, they are lacking. BUT, im guessing they wont take long to take shape, they dont look neglected at all, just like they havent taken shape just yet. Keep doing what your doing

thanks for the feedback Timm1704, it is a weak point for sure for the fact that iv suffered injurys in both and scoping in the left but shoulders are my main focus... if you know of any shoulder movements that can help the separation and roundness please let me know

    Thanks again

really its just a case of hitting each deltoid hard, consistently for a long time. It took mine awhile to take shape, they had reasonable size afew years ago, but didnt have the capped look like they do at the moment.

I too have had several shoulder injuries, and one surgery on the left. I dont lift heavy on shoulder presses anymore, but pre exhaust them with side raises, rear delts, sometimes alittle front delt work, and then afterwards i do my presses. They still feel heavy, as my muscles are already fooked, but the weights i use to press are pretty light really

looking good bro, reminds me of me at 19 before i got fat,

    you got a good base,

i also have some shoulder and wrist injuries ( and a bum hip but it doesnt bug me that much )

i isolate alot of my sh!t, i find straight bar stuff bugs my shoulder alot ( rotator cuff is pinched and partially torn yaaay bmx :/ )

i do alot more dumbell stuff then i used to for sure, just take it easy on it. and work on it more,

i've been building up my delts alot which really seems to transfer alot of load, and working my back out alot to pull my shoulders together and my chest apart.

    try and isolate sh!t more,

    good luck homie

You look really good man but if you were to cut you would look massive. It is all about the illusion of size man....if you cut 15-20lbs off you might lose a little bit of muscle and strength but you will actually look much stronger and bigger.

ya im in the process of cutting, but i still wanna retain size

Could anyone give me a rough guess on what my body fat might be?

    Thanks

man i was worried about holding my size forever. i used to be 242 lbs at 5'6 now im 190, and look bigger. maybe not in a sweatshirt, but i dont give a crap. if you cut a good 15 lbs of fat it would look like you put on 15 lbs of muscle. you wouldnt expect it, but trust me..its shocking.
anyway, lookin sick man, especially for your age..thick as ****. are you natural? do you plan on cycling if you havent?
regardless, lookin damn thick man, keep doin that heavy lifting brutha its working.
    peace

looks great man wish i would have started lifting during high school. how does your back look? i see you take glutamine already so that would have been my 2 cents on preventing muscle catabolism. yea i read that your growth plates dont seal until age 22-24 as far as i know you should wait a few years, in the meantime get ripped and post some pics after.

Only 10 days? I'd say thats a pretty significant transformation especially for 10 days...Though the first pic you didn't appear to have a 'pump' and the second pic it looks as if you've just worked out. What were the macro breakdowns(pro, carb, fat) on your diet? What all did you do for cardio??? That whole shoulder separation issue seems to be a mute point now, you are well on your way! Congrats....

thanks a lot man your comments are inspiring!!! ...actually the first pics were taken mid work out so i was at my most pumped... the last pic was after being out on a boat all day not eating anything, pretty strange ... iv just really stepped up the cardio about 4.5 miles a day of running and just tapering my carbs throughout the day(my problem was eating at night because i smoked weed, just a faze)... lost about 5 pounds, probably of BLOAT and WATER... so far so good...
