    I am looking to improve my speed and strength what should i be taking to do this?

    do more core work.

    lower back/abs/obliques.

    those affect your speed more than you can imagine. i have known runners who saw tremendous gains by doing way more core work.

    for a endurence type athlete anything you take will be for recovery reasons...

    its not 'what should i be taking' bro. its what muscle groups you need to focus on. obviously you haven't done enough research on your sport. put some personal effort into what you are trying to accomplish and people around here will be glad to help you.

    I have done a lot of research in my sport. i run an 11.1 100 and work on speed drills and technique mwf and endurance work t th and circut training on sat. Except i really need to break into the 10's on my hundered and im constantly sore and am looking to see if there is anything out there that can help he develop my strength and recovery.

    The simple answer: Var... little/no weight gain and the sides are pretty much non-existant. Also, there are some great firms out there that specialize in sport-specific TRAINING for athletes... just a thought.
