    Pyramiding workouts (great?)

Well I see all the big guys, including the ones in the IFBB and the big guys at my gym doing pyramiding workouts.

Starting light, going real heavy (down to maybe 1-3 reps, especially on the big lifts, such as deadlift, squat and bench).

Is this method effective? They also train very intensly.
Seems like short workouts with real shit-your-ass-out intensitity with pyramiding workouts.

I am doing The slingshot training system as of now, and I really like it.
But when it's time to change things up (after training STS 2 times, I will try this, as I don't like training bodyparts two times per week, as STS say you should do, to change up the paste). But I reccon that this will change up the paste alot aswell.

Anybody training this way? Pyramiding sets, high intensity ?

Try it out and see if it works for you. It is all about trial and error. It seems to work for some of them. It is always good to change up your routine every couple of months.

I do pyramids on all my cores... bench, squat, and deads... sometimes on military press too....

I can tell you that in the past 4 yrs I have not stopped gaining size and stregnth yet.

    It works for sure.
