mg? I think you mean grams. How are you using it, post-workout or pre morning cardio?
15-20 grams in 5 gram intervals.
morning
preworkout
post workout
before bed
(two of those may be the same time. but 3-4 times a day.
yeah sorry i meant grams,i want to use it just postworkout
then why did you ask about dosing?
my question is 5 grams postworkout or 10 grams?
I found taking it before bed brought on bouts of insomnia. The only way I've ever found this stuff to be useful is combined with BCAAs before morning cardio.
is 5 grams daily postworkout a good dose?
dude that's a very bold statement to claim, i want to know where u red that ironic statement hopefylly not on protein label cause if you read it correctly u will find that protein powder consist of glutamine.
back to the question 5g to 10g should b enough for the body in one day.
best way to take it is to split the serving.
10-15 grams post workout
5-10 or 10-15 btw i am 170lbs if it matters
10 grams
a few grams of glutamine will NOT ALLOW ME TO BUILD MUSCLE.....!!! WTF...
control - alt -delete
take your mulligan my friend and try again
although I have read that taking additional glutamine with your shake can hinder its absorption...something about the glutamine competing, but I don't know how true that is... or if its effects are really that important
There isnt much benefit to taking it pwo with whey as whey contains good amounts of glutamine and other aminos ...also its been shown that for any effects that help prevent muscle wasting it needs to be taken in doses around 25-30 grams/day when ingested orally - and this is onlybeen shown to be true in a nutrient deficient state... btw a good bodybuilding diet will provide most people with in excess of 35-40grams of glutamine in whole food sources alone...so imo ...it is a waste....
An added note - i could see a potential place for it when cutting hard...depending on how you adjust your macros to do so...JMO
