I'd go with Tobey but it really depends on how big the egg is! Better to go by weight if possible... 100g of raw egg white has 11 grams of protein in it, 50kcals ish.

    def

THats crap.. If you eat 4 egg whites which is quite a bit, its only 12gms of protein.
Id rather stick with 2 small cans of tuna = around 35gms protein.

4 egg whites = a quite a bit?? haha - the good ol days sorry bro, but I believe most people are having 10-12 egg whites a day easy. i personally prefer them to tuna - yukkk. try something new with yer eggwhites. to get a decent protein sitting have lets say 8-10 whites, perhaps a yolk or three if you are bulking. then add spices, oriental sauces, stirfry veggies etc. - anything to help it go down easier. i agree that 10 whites straight fried/boiled is a definite no no after about 3 days

I eat about 20 egg whites a day. Although they don´t have carbs, they do have sodium which can hold a bit more water than you want if you are cutting. Of course if you drink enough water it shouldn´t be a problem. Before bed they are great because they take a while to assimilate.

just eat the whole egg its more worth while to get the extra protein and regardless of contraversy on egg yolks they are good for!!!!

Since when were 2 cans of tuna only 35g of protein? It is more like 65g for 2 cans of tuna.

I agree totally. I got this buddy who is trying to gain weight and manage is grocery bill. He told me he is eating like 6 egg whites in the mornings... I was like, "YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY BUY THROWING THE OTHER HALF AWAY BRAH!" Eating just the egg whites has it's place but more often than not, eating the whole thing is a much better descion. Plus research does say the fats in the yolk are now GOOD FATS that help lower blood cholesterol.
