    Installing Leopard for Macbook Pro on a Macbook

    I have the Leopard install software discs for my Macbook Pro. Will they work on my regular macbook?

    I just attempted to install it, but it said it couldn't be done, so I guess that's my answer unless someone on here (Carlos or any of the other Mac gurus) knows anything I don't.

    you should be able to as a mac book is running the same software as a pro....

    yes. the os isn't specific to a computer, it's the apple operating system which works on all apple hardware. when you upgrade OS, you only get one version - it works on all apples (provided they have the processing power to handle the new OS).

    It is saying "This OS will not work on this computer".
