Me and my friend are lifting just to get back in shape we are both big guys and still strong from our football years and i think we have a decent spit it works for us. just looking for some advice on a way to change up the routine without changing the split and to see if we are doing enough......we did a 2 day split for awhile to get our strength up and now we are just concerned with keeping our strength and cutting some fat by actually doing cardio lol but anyway here's our split
chest/back day 1
flat bench, incline dumbells, decline either on smith machine or pully's (kinda like a bowflex at the gym) and flyes for chest, then rows, weighted back extentions, lat pulldowns for back
Arms day 2
usually superset 4 biceps with tri's ex
preacher curl ss w/tri pushdowns,
hammer curls ss with rope extentions overhead for tris,
a bicep machine ss w a tricep machine
and then a 1 arm cable pulldown 4 tri ss w/one arm cable conc curl for bis
ps this is my fav workout if you've never done bi's and tris together superseting them try it one day your arms are really pumped when your done
shoulder/legs day 3
mil press, plate front raises, lat raises, and shrugs for should
leg press w calf press, leg ext, leg cur and calf raises wen we are doing shrugs on smithmachine too
