I'm 45 been in the gym 30 years. Ive done a few cycles over the past 20 years. I'm not on anything right now. I'm 215 lbs 9 or 10% body fat. My problem is my forearms. they feel constantly as if they are sore from a workout. it hurts to pick up weight. at night if I sleep with my arms bent they will go to sleep.( start tingling) When I go to the gym say on arms day It hurts like hell to do light curls but after I warm up and do a few sets of light curls of about 20 reps the pain goes away and I can do heavy sets but after a three sets of light weight of 20 reps I pretty much exhausted for heavy sets. the pain seems to be mostly just below the elbow in the tendons almost at the ligament. I can press on the tendons and where the pain is. it is not in the joints. I have not tried any pain relievers aspirin or ibuprofen. but I think that is just a temporary solution. I thought it might go away but it seems to be permanent. it has been two months now. any suggestions on where I might read up on this? I feel if I go the Dr. he will just prescribe something and I don't feel that is the solution. Or he may say surgery and I that is not a acceptable at this time. What say you?
