wher can I buy finasteride?

Is this somthing I can get from a doctor? or what? Im not balding but I have balding in my fmaily so I figer I might as well take it just in case.

yeh thats wat i did.. i went to a Dr and told him i have MPB in my family and i think i mite b going bald so he wrote me out a prescription...

Finasteride/Propecia is prescribed by a doctor. It is expensive, its about $100 US Dollars a month, or $1200 American Dollars per year. It is necessary to take forever too. Once you stop taking it, you shed. If I could rewind and be 18 again, and have my hair back I would have started taking it and not stopped. When i started taking propecia I was 25, half bald, found it expensive, and stopped taking it after only 1 year. Now I am pretty much bald and 32

propecia is not covered by insurance. but finasteride is.. due to the prostate.. insurance will cover that than.. but propecia is flat out for hair/cosmetic.. they wont cover it
