    how to downgrade estrogen receptors

    hey guys ,

anybody knows a way to actually downgrade ones estrogen receptors , thus making you less prone to estrogenic side effects.

i know one way is to actually have low estrogen levels , but is there anything one can take to aid in this process.

proviron or DHT is said to modulate the ER , can anybody elaborate on this and give practical suggestions ??

    thanks.

it is said that fat contains a lot of aromatase , but again , i heard of people very fat , who take HRT and dont need AI , while others are fit , and they need a AI.

SERM's downregulate the ER and upregulate it in certain tissues. Tamoxifen is an antagonist in breast tissue but an agonist in the liver, this may be able to explain why it increases IGF.

Your best bet is using an AI and decreasing the amount of aromotase.

Low bodyfat and diet in certain foods will also help as some exert anti-estrogenic effects. Such as, kelp, Ginkgo biloba, Damiana, vitamin K, fish oil etc...

ok well yes, but the less fat you have on you, the less estrogen floating around and that means less to the receptors right? Even though i am prone to gyno its better if i am more lean and have low bf than bulking up with abit of fat, as i have noticed that i become less sensitive to gyno.
