    opinion on Sust/deca for reducing body fat

    My mate is on a Sust/deca cycle 500mg Sust and 300mg deca a week, he is on week 10 of this cycle and has only put on 4lbs, (now before you all start saying he’s not eating enough) he is trying to do a lean bulk and only eats 200 calories above maintenance on workout days and drops back to maintenance (2400cals) on off days (also no carbs on off days). Now the thing is his body has changed from a soft 19/20 fat% to a much leaner muscular look (maybe 14%fat) he has also lost 3 inches off his waist. now to my question how many guy’s here have had similar results using Sust/ deca, i.e. gaining muscle and dropping the equivalent amount in fat so the end result is your overall weight is roughly the same but you are leaner and more muscular.

    You can cut with any AAS. Some have hardening properties but no steroids directly burn fat. You use them while cutting to save muscle. So, you can cut on test alone, test and deca, etc.

    although you can cut on any AAS, i can imagine it would be pretty hard to cut on deca, like real hard lol

    my understanding is that sus/ deca is primarly used for bulking and that there is much better AAS for get the lean hard look. and that one should not start and cycle untill the bf is 11-12 %....

    not true, ive started at 15% and cut up very well on sust

    I know guys that run contest prep on Sus. Not my choice, but it can be done.

    Thanks for the comments guys, the reason my mate used these compounds is he got them for his last cycle that he had to stop after 3 weeks due to a motor cycle accident, he did not want to buy more gear when he had this lying in a drawer, I know his body fat % was high to start a cycle but he is 45 years old and always say’s he finds it difficult to get below 15%. Do you think he would have got the same results if he just used sust on its own without the deca and kept to his diet??

    personally id just use the sust, id use deca as a bulker with it. hope he's ok, hate to hear of a fellow biker goin down

    so would you still use the sust at 500mg a week ? (I would do 250mg every 5 days or so) He is fine now he broke his collar bone.

    every 3.5 days, ie shoot 250 every mon and thurs

    I suppose the moral of the story is you can bulk or cut on Sust/deca it’s all down to how many calories you consume and of course cardio.
