    Pre-Basic Training Cycle.

    I know a lot about AAS/Diet & Nutrition.
I know how to properly use AAS to bulk up.

I don't ship out until June. I want to run a short (4 week) cycle of test prop. I'm looking for a good routine to incorporate mostly endurance training and some strength training. as I want to be close to maxing out the PT test in all area's before I ship out. For the first time in 6+ years of lifting my goal isn't size.

What are some good routine's for my current goals. I don't even mind losing some muscle mass. as long as I can bang out 100+ pushups in 2 minutes 100+ situps in 2 minutes. 30 pullups. and run 2 miles in 14:00.

save your money... you don't need to run a cycle right before basic at all. You will waste your time on that. You need to run, run, run and do push ups, sit ups, and pullups. Mix in some weights but focus more on the running. Whatever you put on will go away as soon as you start on basic. I'm serious here. It will be a big waste of time and money and will hinder your cardio capabilities too.

I'm not worried about losing weight. at all. I've never really trained for muscle endurance. what are some good pushup routines that Will get me cranking out 100+ by June? I can do 30 in good form right now. 13 pull ups. as far as running, I started doing HIIT (high intensity interval training)

If you want to get better at something, practice doing it.

How much is too much though... to go to failure, or not to go to failure? I've never trained for endurance :[

everything depends... there are so many variables.

if you need to get better at running, run more.
    better at pullups, do more.

It is a vague answer for a vague question.

take exactly what you are going to have to do on the test and amplify it and practice doing exactly that.

yea, if you are shooting to maximize your PT test, than practice the test. 2minute drills where you go as hard as you can for two minutes. Keep doing things like that and you will get good at it like Twist said. I still say to stay away from the juice... it is a waste and hindrance at this point.

I would say work the exercise that you will be tested on. Which branch are you entering?

Pushups; Wide grip, normal grip, close grip.

    Pullups; Practice alot.

Situps; Do alot of them with your feet anchored, legs 90 degrees, all the way up all the way down.

Run; I improved my run by doing interval training. walk then sprint, when you get better jog/sprint. start at 30 seconds walk, 60 sprint. work your way up to 60/120 then to 90/150... ect. the point is to get your breathing in control.
It helps me to breath in on my left foot, then start exhaling on my left, but its what works for you.
