just wandering if anyone can give me advice as to what might have happend to me? i've just started my 1st cycle of deca 300 & testenate 300, monday deca 1ml & thursday test 1ml.
i injected the deca on the monday into my glute was a bit sore as expected for 1st time using but that soon went with no probs but when i done the test in my other side on the thursday my arse cheek has swollen up like a balloon is realy tender to touch and is all red and hot around the area, i can hardly walk or sit down, i took care to swab everything clean 1st, could anyone help as to what the problem may be?

Sounds to me like you could have an infection i would go see a doctor

99% it's an infection. Oral antibiotics will take care of it.

All the sypmtoms you've listed are the cardinal symptoms of an infection.

if it doesnt go down in the next day or two then go to the doctor. i have heard of Test400 having issues of extreme soreness due to the high alcohol content required for caring 400mg in a single ml.. but don't know about test300.. its too bad this happened on your first cycle.. i've done a couple and never had an issue (knock on wood)

It may not be an infection..... theres a ton of things that can contribute to this. The test could have a higher Benzyl Alcohol content which would make it hot and sore..... The movement of the needle while injecting and the irritation it causes could doit.

IMO..... theres no need to rush to a doc. If the area isn't better soon i'd make an appointment tho. If you do go see a doc - tell him you gave yourself a vitamin B12 shot and you think it might be infected. Theres no need to tell him it was a steroid injection.....

cheers guys, much appreciated.. how should i go about carrying on with my cycle whilst i still have this problem, do i carry on and just jab the good side and swap back and forth to my leg or would you advise i hold everything till its all resolved? also would doing the deca & test in the same jab help the body absorb the gear easier with less crystallization meaning less pain? just a thought?

First, you don't use the same needle you draw with to inject, right? That will definitley cause discomfort due to a slightly dulled needle....

Yes, you can definitley draw in one syringe, that would make it easier... If you are new to this, you can also warm the two before injecting.

Also, I agree with Hazard on that.. I have had some gear that just had alot of alcohol in it, and it will make for a hell of a week. Its easy to get freaked out when you read some people's threads though....

yeah i always change needles for injecting and i heat the gear up in hot water 1st as well..
would you suggest i carry on my cycle as usual but just do the 1 jab a week instead of 2 but put them both in the same jab 1ml of each,
or should i hold off till this is sorted?

Continue. I like to shoot both mixed in the same syringe. If you get the same effect on the 2nd shot then yeah stop...

BTW how long does it take you to inject? Many people make the mistake of doing it to fast. 1ml should take almost 1 minute or ever more to push in. You dont want to slam it into the muscle and cause bruising.

yeah i think i did rush my last one a little cuz i was finding it so awkward being right handed to reach the left side of my glute whilst trying to see what i was doing.. just got back from the docs now and he recons its an infection and gave me antibiotics to take, can i still carry on my cycle while taking them or should i wait?

Carry on. The anti biotic wont interfere with anything.

done a weeks course of antibiotics and carried on my cycle as usual but changed from 2 separate injections to 1 single injection 1ml of each, after about 4 days of antibiotics i was back to normal, no swelling or soreness, infection gone and touch wood everything's going good now!!

im just curious man, please answer truthfully, do you swab the vial tops always and thoroughly as well as the skin area. just confess if not. it just helps to know if it were product or user caused for reading experience.... for all. do you lay the need down uncapped? accidently rub it on your hand or other surface, do you wipe your hands down with a drop of alcohol?

i do all those overly anticeptic things. and ive still gotten a thigh infection. and once i used a need twice after submersing it in alcohol all night for the next morning......... my last syringe. dont ever do that. that was 2004, and i knew it was a bad idea. ive had some hard core idiocy in some rare moments. but im human.
