Need to Find My Motivation Again

I have been out of the gym for almost a month now trying to give my shoulder and an elbow injury some time to feel better. One thing I have realized is that if Im not working out I have an extremely hard time eating healthy. Pizza, burgers, chips, and ice cream have been a diet staple lately. In this time frame I have lost 7 pounds from eating 3 meals a day. Now I have told myself for 5 days that tomorrow Im getting back in the gym and all 5 days I blew it off. I know once I get back into the routine I will be fine but I just cant find the drive. Im afraid Im going to end up looking like D7M's new avi. Help!

    you're just being a pvssy.....

Really man..... tomorrow is the day. Make the decision tonight..... wake up and tell yourself you're doing it...... and then just do it. You've worked hard before and you don't need to lose all that hard work in a matter of a month or two. Get yourself a pre-workout drink..... nom that shit..... and get to it.

If you won't start working out regularly and keep making it so hard to start "again", then you will perish as some avarage human being. This is not what made you start working out in the first place, now is it?

You will either get to it or kiss your dreams of a great physique good bye and stay avarage or worst! Your choice bud!

    Take care!

    That works....

To the OP, btw even if you are resting a rotator cuff injury you can concentrate one many other things, even if you had surgery. You can still work legs, do sit ups, back raises and anything that does not HURT the shoulder.

Excuses are like a$$holes, everyone has one.

Good point and I appreciate you telling it like it is. I finally got in there yesterday and did some light circuit training and some cardio. Felt good. I should be fine from here on out.

Check this out mate, that should definitely get you to the gym on these days when you are just not feeling it! Especially 2:32, later on you actually see this guy do a pull up with his wheel chair strapped to his body...
