Her we go Lesnar vs Velasquez cant wait for this one. Who do you guys will win? I have to say i believe it will come down to if Cain is able to stop Brock from taking him down speed vs strength. Being Mexican i will have to go with my boy Cain (not going to be easy)

Cain has some power, but I dont see him being able to keep Brock off of him long enough for him to do anything

    that being said

If Cain can stun Brock the way Carwin did, you gonna have ALOT better chance of Cain getting the victory due to his better ground game

I don't see Brock losing that belt anytime soon. His work ethic is sick. His speed is that of a 155 pounder and I don't EVER see him half asssing his training. I think Brock is going to put a beating on Cain. How about Tito and Hammill...another great match up!

In the beginning of his UFC career I really couldn't stand Brock Lesnar. I just hated how cocky he was. I heard that after he took the belt back from Frank Mir, Dana White had a sit down with him after he made an ass out of himself on PPV. He seems to have turned things around a bit as far as his attitude goes. I gotta admit he grew on me. How could you not like the guy? He's a beast! Former Minnesota Twins player Kent Hrbek has an Outdoors man TV show here in Minnesota. One episode he was telling a hunting story about Brock. One of the guys they were with named an amazing buck. Not sure on the points. Brock grabbed the buck by the rack and dragged it all the way back to the cabin like it was a gallon of milk or something. Dude is a freak!
Oh, and Ortiz is finished. Should be a good night at the fights!

Lesnar 2nd round ground n' pound, unless Valesquez uses his speed/cardio to avoid any take downs and get a clean shot.

That's the one thing about Valesquez... His cardio is top notch. From what I've seen in training videos he does not get tired. It's gonna be a hell of a fight boys!

I think Velasquez will take him out. Shane Carwin in my opinion proved that Brock isn't all that unstoppable, he could have won that fight.

I do like Brock, but would have liked to see Carwin win. Carwin just seems a lot more focused as a professional fighter. I guess it's just hard for guys to compete with Brock's size. But as you said... he's not completely unstoppable. Lucky or not, Frank Mir still took him by leg lock.

Cain won't knock Lesnar out. If Carwin couldn't do it, Cain doesn't stand a chance. Brock is a beast. He withstood Carwin's onslaught of punches in round 1. Any other fighter would've of been lights out. Brock is much bigger, faster, and stronger. And against Carwin, proved he could take a sick punch or 20. lol

Cain has a fighting chance, but I wouldn't put money on it.

Maybe Cain doesn't have the power that Carwin does but i think your forgetting one thing Carwin simply gassed him self out. He could barley even stand at the beginning of the sec round, he gave Brock that chock. I guarantee you Cain ain't going to gas out like Carwin did.

    Agreed pitbulllock,

In addition to that for a fighter to wrap his head in his arms to deny another access should be a 3 count and out in my opinion, where if you cover up like a little girl (albiet with giant forearms and hands) the ref should start a loud one two three and if you are still wrapping your head up your done. But all that aside Carwins cardio and technique (if you aint got it "cardio" dont spend it) caused him to loose and Lesnar did what he did to survive.

By the way I feel Carwin would have been well advised to use elbows on Lesnar during the coverup, but he may not be flexible enough to land them well.

You also have to wonder about the condition of Lesnar now compared to the Lesnar that Valesquez will face tonight, I really wish Valesquez the best because I think Lesnars slobbing technique as I call it where he kinda smothers you then drops garbage form strikes till you are done is boring as hell to watch...Sure he is big and powerful....yet by comparison for me about as exciting as some of the 300+ pound MR O competitors.
