    how to lose my hips

    i am 20 year old girl....i use to be very skinny till i developed insulin resistance.. i have to much insulin in my system and the insulin doesn't work...so my body is turn my insulin into fat i have een put on medication and with exercise i lose weight quite quickly my prolem area is my hips .. what can i do to get them down

    cardio and what you eat will help.

    spot reduction is an issue for males and females. Men keep fat on their love handles and women keep it on the hips, as a general rule. The problem with this is that when you begin to lean out it looks worse than before because you lose fat where you don't need to as much and still have all of it on the area you were wanting to have shrink. If you know this ahead of time you are more likely to stick with the diet and exercise program than giving up when you feel as if things aren't going the way you need them to.

    Post your diet, exactly what you eat and the times you eat it, and your workout, all cardio you perform, when and what and for how long, and the exercises you do otherwise, weight lifting, zumba, spin class, etc... and we'll be more specific with our advice.

    5.50am i eat high fibre cereal .....don't eat till about 8 pm..... if i do eat it will be a meal replacement shake or pure beef patties...... i do 45 mins curcuit for cardio and 45 mins of weight training.. i drink about 1.5l of water a day..... i was told i am not eating enough.... but i'm so use to eating like that now if i eat more i feel loated and bigger

    sre you saying you only eat two meals a day?

    pretty much ... sometimes 3 meals a day if i have time before work to make lunch

    That is not the right diet you should be approaching. I recommend eating more like at least 4-5 meals per day, small portions and of course watching what you consume. 1st adjustment can be done by replacing the beef patty with tuna or chicken.

    Again you should post your exercise and duration, then I think some of us can tell you what your diet should look like.

    well i workout an hour and a half every day except weekends... 45mins weight training working a different body part every day and after that 45 mins cardio....
