    newbie here

Alright I know there is a million newbie posts like this every week. But I'm asking the pros now. Ive read and done research and now what to here from the vets.

I just started my very first cycle of Test-E 250mg the first 3 weeks and 500mg the last 9 weeks. I know its not much of a cycle but i wanted to try it.

My question is about PCT. the people i talk to that do it have know idea or dont do PCT. Im stuck on what i should use or take for a PCT. and what should i take to prevent shrinkage. I have heard of people taking nolva or clomid while on the cycle but im not sure if that while have negative effects on the test.

    any advice would help thanks.

i started my cycle at 200lbs, very high BF% (all in the midsection), 5'10". I will keep a post on my progress and hopefully i can learn from this forum so i can be prepared for a better cycle and PCT next time around.

Sorry I should have asked in the first post lets get some more details.

How many years training do you have under your belt?
Where are you at currently in this cycle?
What PCT meds do you have on hand?

You really should have asked questions BEFORE starting this cycle. And you haven't even planned your PCT yet??

You dont think thats much of a cycle but in fact its TOO much. 12 weeks is ok, but for a first cycle I suggest 10weeks. Test only is also suggested for a first cycle so not sure why you think its not much. Stacking isnt recomended untill after a 3rd cycle usually. Also I believe 500mg/wk too too high. 375mg/wk is perfect for starters. Just bc you raise the dose does not mean you get greater gains, in fact you may get more side effects instead. Do .75cc on Monday and Thursdays. Thats 375mg/wk. I think youre the 3rd person in 2 days Ive had to revise their incorrect first cycle. Just saying.. ask BEFORE you start buddy if you truely want to know the best advice.

Vette, thanks for the advice i will take it. The guys i know just shot the shit up. they dont read or care to know about. thats why i couldnt get real advice from them. i will take all the advice and suggestion you guys give. Johnyone do you take both nolva and clomid or is that an example of how you take each.

u take both and you should get them both now. if u get signs of gyno ull need the nolva to treat that either way u need both for pct.

thanks for the advice. just two more questions. ive heard u can use nolva during a cycle if i get signs of gyno, if i couldnt get nolva can i use clomid instead while on the test e. im not showing signs i just want to be safe and sure about it. thanks

It actually will. Just not quite as efficiently as Nolva, and with more side effects.

Any chance you care to school me on this BP? Not sure I follow the science on the clomid helping with gyno.

Simple. Like Nolva and Torem, it is a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator. By definition, it blocks estrogen in breast tissue, along with boosting LH and FSH output. It isn't as efficient of an estrogen blocker/regressor as Nolva, but it should work fine for gyno prevention if it's all you've got.
