    blood drop

SO second injection, the first went perfect.

Pinned in other leg this time, needle went all the way in no pain, but in the last few mm i felt some slight sharpness. when aspirated i pulled back a descent amount and no blood, but when i pulled it out there was a few tiny drops of blood.

Im not dead, so what happened? should I have just stopped and backed up the last few mm?

I usually bleed a few drops from an injection, you're making a pretty decent hole in yourself, chances are you'll see blood. It doesn't mean you injected in a vein, just probably nicked one.

Lets see, you stabbed yourself with a piece of steel...and you're surprised that a tiny bit of blood came out? That's common, since you're likely to pass through small veins and capillaries while injecting. It's only a problem if the tip of the needle ends up in a blood vessel.
