    Starting out, advice appreciated

    Hi all,

Just got onto the forum, looks nice, sorry if this post is in the wrong place!

I am 21 y/o male about 5'10 and I weight about 87 kilos / 13 stone 10 pounds, I want to tone up / lose the fat off my belly and back and also build a fair bit of muscle.

I train with someone who thinks I should be using Anavar / T5's to help me achieve this, used a few T5's and I feel great as lost a bit of weight and also strength improvements.

What do you guys recommend I do to achieve my goals? I am not really bothered about my weight, I just want to look decent, get rid of the shit and look decent, I am quite keen on listening to the person I'm training with as they are in fantastic shape but do not want to be taking something what's not going to work for me!

I train Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and swim Tuesday and Thursdays so quite intense

Any help or advise you may give will be much appreciated!!

    Thanks a lot,
    Mark

edit: forgot to mention, my diet is very good and strict.

21 is way to young to be using steroids.

And frankly, if all you want is to "look decent" then you definitely don't need steroids,

and only need some time, discipline, and diet.

    Ok that's fine, thanks.

What do you recommend for my training then? I want to lift and build muscle when at the gym but I don't really wanna look fatter than I do now, I want to be toned but find it very hard to maintain cardio 3 times aswell as my 2 swimming sessions....
    Thanks D7M

how long have you been swimming? if your looking to tone up then using lighter weight with a higher rep count will do that. throw in cardio on an empty stomach a couple times a week and that should be a nice starting point

    I like your attitude

You can start by posting your full training routine and diet in the appropriate forums, that will get things moving along for you .

About 5/6 months swimming, do you think I should be doing 2x cardio on top of what I do now? on a morning or something?

EDIT: thanks D7M man I will be doing that!
