Which tendon? Is it up by your shoulder or on the opposite side of your elbow?
its up by the shoulder
ive had to go through several mri's ,arthograms 5 doctors several misdiagnoses unecessary shoulder rehab up until yesterday i had no idea until they decided to check the the bicep tendon and low and behold they found the problem after months of seeing to the doctors , resting and overall wasting awaymy problem has finally been pinpointed
its the right bicep tendon up by the shoulder also my bad i didnt realize there was a reply button
That blows man I've had really bad tendinitis in my shoulder it sucks. Definitely ice that sh!t for 20 mins every few hours. This will help with the pain and any swelling. Take some sort of NSAID drug. I usually take ibuprofen, you can take up to 800mg safely a couple times a day. ALWAYS take with food otherwise your insides will bleed. I'd abstain from doing ANY exercises that aggravate it for a couple weeks. When that time has passed and you can do some rehab exercises which are basically just really light curls and bicep stretches. Don't overdo it, you don't wanna make it worse. Hope you get better soon. KEEP IN MIND: I am not a doctor, I just play one as a result of no medical insurance.
Well if you're seeing a real doctor I wouldn't listen to me, if it's really bad they might have to inject steroids into it or something. I'd go see doctor's for my injuries, but I ain't got the $$$ for that; So I'm accustomed to self-diagnosis.
I am seeing a doctor but my next appointment isnt until march 14 thats a long ways away its not horrible to the point that i cant do anything its just bad enough that i cant do presses and ive waited on what been like a half a year now im fully cabable of push ups , curls db side raises, tri extensions etc im just looking for some exercises and activities to help it move along over the next couple weeks before i see the doctor again
Your safest bet is abstaining from exercise until then.
dang thanks anyways man
Take the oppurtunity to work on the core and legs while recovering.Good luck bro!
