    Recovering Muscle/Strength After Car Accident

Okay, so a quick background. I was in a bad car accident about a year and a half ago and fractured my left leg and both my arms. At the time I was leg pressing 700, squatting 400 and benching 275. After being laid up for three months and a slow three months of rehab (Doc said it should've taken longer but I progressed quickly) I finally got back in the gym and it felt great. But after twelve months of lifting I cant even get close to where I was prior to the accident. The strength, size, hardness etc has come back to an extent but its nowhere near where it was before.

I have no prior experience with steroids but I began thinking maybe it would do the trick. I spoke to my doctors, just to see what they thought, and got a resounding "no!" (and managed to insult one of my doctors who then told me if I wanted to do something "so rediculous" that I should "just go to mexico and stay there"; needless to say, he is no longer one of my doctors).

So I want to get opinions from people with experience in the field. What do you guys think? Could it help? If so, what kinds should I use? How long should I use them? Any and all input would be much appreciated.

mate if you can i would be using HGH. I used it after knee surgery and unlike steroids it will help heal ur ligaments/tendons etc.. all in all it will speed your recovery. Naturally ull be in a hurry to get back to what you were but you really should take it easy, and 3 months is a bare minimum for that sort of recovery.

My concern is using steroids will make you stronger obviously, but your bones, liaments tendons etc might not be at the stage to take that extra strain, hence risking further injury

If its affordable and you have access, GH is definatey the way to go.. find the right doc mine was on precription

Before you jump on that there are a lot of things to consider. Age? Also most of the HGH you find out there is 90% fake now days. You need to do a lot of research first and best if you can get it from a longevity clinic so you know it's real.

Do you need a perscription to get it from a longevity clinic? Because i assume they would usually handle older people and those clinics and im 22.

No, from what i know the GH is delivered straight to the clinic. But given your age your well and truely young enough to let your body heal itself. Even with gh doesnt mean u can go lifting heavy asap. Id look at taking a year off heavy weights, your already 3 months down.. man at 22 dont be in a rush and let your body heal so u dont have problems later on.. trust me
