Post My Diet Before my cycle

    My Diet

    Meal 1 (120g Oats) (1/2Carton Egg whites)(1/2 Banana)(Whey ISO 1 Scoop)(1 Liter Water)(Fish oil & Flax Oil)

    Meal 2 (110g Rice) (1/2Carton Egg whites) (2 Cups frozen veggies)(1/2 Avocado)(Multi-Vitamin) (1 Liter Water)

    Meal 3 (120g Pasta) (1/2Carton Egg whites) (1 Liter Water)(Fish oil& Flax Oil)

    Meal 5 (140g Oats) (1/2Carton Egg whites)(Pre W/O Shake: L-argentine, Caffeine, Beta alanine, L-glutamine)(1 Liter Water)

Snack (Post W/O Shake: Whey ISO 2 Scoops, Dextrose, maltodextrin, Honey)(1 Liter Water)

    Meal 6 (110g Rice) (1/2Carton Egg whites) (2 Cups frozen veggies) (1/2 Avocado)(1 Liter Water)(Fish oil& Flax Oil)

    Meal 7 (120g Pasta) (1/2Carton Egg whites)(1 Liter Water)

    Meal 8 (1&1/2 Hand Full almonds) (1/2Carton Egg whites)(Whey Casein Shake)(Fish oil& Flax Oil)

When I’m at work 4/7 days of the week I mix 3/4ths of a carton of whites with a small chocolate milk every break and drink it and I eat 2 dry chicken wraps (No sauce) every break which is about 6oz of chicken, 3oz each wrap

My diets almost 400g of protein a day, a little more then 400g of protein on work days, but not really over 400g IMO considering the raw egg whites are not digested well…

A lot of people tell me I need to cut down on protein.. But because of my beliefs I will not.

I have all my macros calculated in a book, but I can’t find my book right now! And did not want to re-calculate everything, all I use to remember my diet is this little sheet on my fridge that says Pasta:120
    Oats:120
    Rice: 110
Off of that I can follow this diet very easily! Everyone on the forum is telling me to fix my diet, so I am going to man up and fix it before I do a cycle! I’m sure there is a lot wrong with it, hopefully you guys can pick it apart with constructive criticism!

    Thx, all opinions welcome

BTW while on cycle I was planning on upping my calories to 5k by adding mass gainer shakes and increasing my carbs and proteins

I will post all the stats of carb/protein/fat #'s and calories when I get my book, just not wanting to sit down for a half hour and recalculate everything with cross multiplying and everything lol

At a glance that diet has to be over 5000 cals a day what are your stats? The diet itself looks OK but there is a lot of carbs in there, is the rice cooked or raw?

you must be a real monster to shovel all that lot in a day and not be fat.

    ^^ditto

And if your egg whites are pasteurised then you have no problems with digestibility/bio availability.

Im a cage fighter and train hard cardiovascularly every day... Maybe that's how i maintain my waist lol. The rice is Brown and i weigh it raw.

IMO or I.M.Knowledge, By not cooking the eggs, or more scientifically, by not "denaturalizing the protein of the eggs" your body can not digest/absorb the protein to its full potential, whether they are pasteurized or not. Pasteurization just means the eggs were sealed and heated to a temp just high enough to kill the bacteria to prevent spoilage.

So why not change your protein source to something you think has a greater bio availability?

Interested to see the macro breakdown for the above diet.

Could you not just sub it for some casein and drink that instead?

The downside of this thread is that I now have to research further bio availabilty of egg whites, avidin and biotin. Ha ha, got any good reading for me?

^^^^^^^ I thought egg whites were the gold standard of protein, if you cannot utyilise all the protein in there how the hell can it be gold standard?

It has a bioavailability score of 100 so it is the hold standard. The argument is that they need to be cooked to achieve it. I am researching whether anything can be added to uncooked whites to up their availability.

Pasteurisation only heats enough to kill bacteria not to 'cook' them. Uncooked their bioavailability is only about 50%.

Suppose you could cook them then blend them into your shake, not sure on the texture though?
