I am confused by quite a few posts I've been seein lately about people's stats, how much does genetics play a role in your weight , such as 4 people same diet etc, because I'm 5"11 89kg@12%bf and I find that very average lol.

Can you clarify your question.

How dominant a role do genetics play in building your body
genetics has a LOT of sway in how you look and how your body responds to diet/exercise. The shape of your muscles, whether or not your 6pak shows naturally, your overall body strength level....
for example, at any age, it would have been nearly impossible for me to be at an elite level for body bbuilding (if i had put the effort in). Upper bbody too big, legs too slender, butt has a funny shape.
but with 80+% of us here, that is not the point. the point is continuous improvement, not perfection.
