    Going against the doctor.

So after months of asking my Endo if I could go up in gel dosage, I took it upon myself. I know some people will hate me for doing it but I felt it was time for me to just try it and see. Well after trying and extra half pump to my original 2 pumps, I feel great.

Have any of you do this? My doctor doesn't know and probably won't let me have the 3 pumps a day but I think I'm going to continue with this dosage. Thoughts?

what was your blood work on just 2 pumps? I upped my dosage when blood work came back and it was extremely low, I was on 100 mg a week, and it came back lower than before, doc bumped me to 120mg, that's when i said screw you guy and went up to 200 mg and got a new doctor that would also give me HCG and monitor E2 levels.

Stevens take a close look at the actual drug insert. If you apply moisturizer an hour or so after application of the gel you can raise the effectiveness of it by 14-17% if I recall correctly. Take advantage of this so you don't miscalculate and run out of gel early.

it's all about your blood levels.

what you should be asking your doc is for weekly injections

I have been trying to get the OK for so long but since my doc thinks my levels are in the "healthy" zone, she feels there is no purpose to change to injections. With my schedule, I have no time to go to hospitals to do the injections and she doesn't want me to do it myself.
