    Thanks for being honest,

Could you elaborate on why its terrible?

Imo, nothing wrong with a triple set from time to time, if you get mega pumps and push on past it then surely its ripping the muscle fibres.

Seems to work for me so im sure it will also work for some other people

No basic exercise for building size or mass,
it looked like a women's routine and not intense enough,
wouldn't stimulate any kind of new tissue growth,
I'm sorry but I have to be honest and that shoulder routine was one of the worse ive seen,

    Are you for real?

So your basically saying that a moderate weight triple set is none effective?

I must have been training incorrectly all these years, ok fair does ill go back to the basic 3x8/5x5 etc workouts.

Thanks mate, hopefully ill break past some plateau`s now.

I have to agree with Marcus.... Occasionally I may incorporate some kind of burn out like this (although I can really remember the last time I did or why I would do it TBH)...

You will get more out of straight sets in the 8-10 rep range to complete failure...

Side laterals, over head presses, rear delt movements, front raises....

TBH what u did was kind of like something they would do in a class workout

I do all the above anyway but i always incorporate a triple set/giant set/ drop setc into into my workouts to mix things up abit. I never ache the following day if i do basic movements but if i do stuff like this im in agony the following few days. Anyway each to their own isnt it, what works for one person doesnt work for another. Im not going for the massive muscle mass look ive always strived for the mens health ripped conditioned look so this kind of workout suits me perfectly. If you check out people like Rob Riches and Greg Plitt they all swear by triple sets like these, ye shocking the muscles which is what its all about ye? I even messaged Richard Gozdecki about his chest workouts becuase my chest was lagging and he said he also swears by drop sets, pre exhaust/ triple sets etc, and he was the heavy weight NPA champion.

anyway you cant keep everyone happy

Thanks for the input though guys.

honestly, that wasn't really a workout.....

you need at least 2 sets of dumbbells (2 pairs, different weights, one pair light, one pair heavy), eg. i use 30kg and 10kg dumbbells, and kettle bells to do my shoulder workout..

and about 45 minutes-1 hour, not 2 minutes and 39 seconds..

If say in the video that you can add a drop set into the mixture if you want but i wasnt covering it this time.

Also this isnt JUST a full shoulder workout haha this is just ONE exercise!!!!!!!!!!!

If your shoulders are throbbing with pumps afterwards then its a success

My standard shoulder workout is something like :-

    Arnold press
    single arm DB shoulder press
    behind the beck BB press
lateral raise ( single arm )
    punching with DB
then a shoulder shredder at the end :-)

    no more than 45mins workout

    Thats my theory anyway.
