okay i am tired of arguing with my wife about the worry she can get pregnant while iam on testosterone replacement therapy. Ive been on for 4 years 3 years of injections at 200 week and an occasional 300 my balls have shrunk considerably and ive never taken hcg cause i knew i was done having kids so please you guys reinterate that she cant get pregnent anymore and that my balls no longer work

yes and no, you can possibly restart your balls with clomid,hcg, and nolvadex...but right now you are right you can't get pregnant..time for her to call in the pool boy LOL

talk about an unwanted pregnancy waiting to happen.

You may have a low sperm count due to TRT and mouse balls, but there is no guarantee you are sterile.

jeezuz mate! before you go getting the woman preggers and then you blowing a fuse thinking it's the pool boy, go get yourself checked.

I think i would get a second opinion ffrom Gdivine or one of the other HRT gurus....

Yep, I'd have the semen checked for swimmers...otherwise you're only guessing there isn't any.

Though I would think the chances are lower, definitely not impossible for it to happen. She is right in thinking it could happen. Without getting your sperm checked you are taking a big risk.

I had a semen test pre-HCG ... At the time, there was some motile sperm, but not a lot. However, it would not have been impossible to impregnate. I can find my results if you are any would see it relevant?

If you're Caucasian, there is an 80% chance that you're infertile. Add in a bit of deca and it would be 100%.

heres the thing, in life strange shit happens. Sperm and our little swimmers are sneaky and aggressive ****ers (get it? hahha) There's cases of woman getting knocked up when her man has had a vasectomy. LUCY! You got some splainin to do. Your probably ok but its not 100%

You must still be young or you would realize that life has a way of giving you exactly what you say you don't want. Be careful on saying never, because that's typically exactly what will happen.

As said above other people being on TRT and not using HCG still had some swimmers who had survived. Now I'm sure you remember seventh grade sex ed and how many of those little swimmers does it take to impregnate a woman? Yes it only takes 1. Do yourself a favor and go get tested that would be the most logical thing to do at this point.

If you still have some swimmers and you really do not want kids in the future then you only have a few options 1 of them is to man up and get a vasectomy. It's really not a big deal trust me.

Friend from work got snipped. Had 2 girls and was scared for 3rd. Enjoyed unprotected sex for over 2 years. Wife got prego with identical twins. He snapped and said she cheated. She forced him to recheck sperm, and he had very very low count. Twins were his through DNA confirmation and he under went second vasectomy. If youre done having kids, get snipped. You just never can be to sure tho.

It's possible you one can still get a woman pregnant on TRT... the chances are just decreased. Some men may be effected more than others.

I'd get a sperm analysis though...

how does that happen. if the doc snips your plumbing, and then cauterizes the ends so they cannot heal back to gether again..

...I don't see, if the doc did his job, I don't see how a bloke wouldn't be 100% sterile

(I never got checked after mine, is why i'm asking)

It is very rare and all but impossible. 2 ways this happens is by one engaging in sexual intercourse or self stimulation before the vas deferens have a chance to heal 100%, or spontaneous reattachment known as "recanalization". I am considering this procedure and began doing research some time ago and found that to be odd. Mentioned it to the boys at work and one piped up telling his story.

And yes, he had twin girls...

Agree with everyone here. Even if the count is lowered there's still a chance unless you're snipped and checked, and even then there's always that sneaky ninja sperm hangin out in the shadows. play it safe man.

It is a helpful safeguard, but there is no guarantee. That's why you need to get your sperm analyzed.
