Exclamation 6'3 150lbs need help first cycle

I've decided to take the next step. I’m 26, 6'3 and 150lbs and between 6-10% body fat currently not training more than twice a week
here’s some back story I am extremely athletic and extremely involved in Lacrosse i play on 2 teams full time generally 2 practices and 1 game per team per week I also referee no less than 6 games a week of high level lacrosse and I also coach and then find time to hit the gym. so needless to say I get way to much cardio and need an extra push to bulk I feel (tired of always being the smallest guy out there) now before anyone blasts me saying all I need to do is eat more last season I was consuming 8000cal/day during peak season yes you read that right 8000cal/day high protein diet that my doctor put me on and supervise and to be fair I did gain 10 pounds over 3 months but I definitely did not get the rewards for all the work I put in.
I’m not looking to be a massive body builder and compete but would love to put on 25-50 pounds in the next couple months. And maintain it. I have asked a few people and they recommend for the most part to do a stack of Dbol 40mg daily/deca 400mg weeky/test500mg weekly. Dbol for 4 weeks for a quick gain and deca and test for 12-16 weeks to continue to build ad maintain. I was wondering if anyone out there has/had a similar body type and if this is what was used or if you recommend it. I’m more than open to other stack options if there is better out there.

Welcome to the board brother. You have a lot to learn! ... like how to eat.
Please do a lot more research before jumping into your proposed cycle.

i wasnt as skinny, but run the exact same cycle for 12 weeks. 50mg dbol the only difference. it totally destroyed my body. i got more sides than people from tjernobyl got...

seriously recommend test only as first cycle. this will allow u to find out how ur body reacts without needing to use a whole lot of other stuff to keep the sides away. test500/deca400 ratio is also lunatic, imo. fvuck dat shit!

diet/cardio seems to make it nearly impossible for u to gain much...that much cardio will demand holyshitloads of food. phelps ate 12k kcal a day, just sayin

theres a link here somewhere, "beginnner cycles". i just cant seem to find it atm...and i have to hit the gym before it closes.

    good luck

Please don't encourage him to cycle. Did you notice his height/weight? He needs to learn how to eat to gain and retain muscle growth.

I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon and tell you not to cycle. You are a big boy...do what you want. All beginners should use Test only for first cycle. There are reasons for this. Read the sticky on beginners cycles. Stay away from the dbol/deca for now.

A Test cycle will help you put on muscle and you'll gain some strength. Now, all that said IF YOU CAN'T KEEP WEIGHT ON NOW YOU ARE LIKELY TO LOSE MOST OF YOUR GAINS FROM AAS ONCE YOUR CYCLE IS OVER. Unless, that is, you improve your diet.

Agree with Back in Black. Nutrition forums is where you need to spend your time right now. 25 to 30 lbs in next 2 months is not realistic. Would be all fat and dangerous to attempt.

Only way I see you gaining any weight is give up some of those other high cardio activities and exchange for lifting. 2x a week is nothing why bother?

Emp, if you're 6'3 and 150lbs, then you haven't gained a single pound naturally.

You think steroids are going to make up for the fact that you don't know how to diet and you don't know how to train. I'll bet you a million dollars that you're not consuming 8000 calories. Unless you're training literally 10 hours a day every day like Michael Phelps did or you got one massive tapeworm, there is no way you're consuming that many calories and still only weigh 150lbs.

I suggest you re-assess your diet and maybe look up how to set a training routine up. Maybe in a few years after you get that all squared away, you'll be ready to run a cycle.

    I second this lol

I started out at abt 145-150 lb (ectomorph) and am now at ~190 lb naturally. My calories intake is 2500-3000 a day

Thats two posts in a row now that you gave advice you obviously shouldn't be handing out.

Read the ENTIRE thread before you hand out reckless advice next time ok? The kid is 6' 3" and 150 f'ing pounds. And you want him to cycle?? Back in Black gave him solid advice and you want to counter that?? Smarten up.

Thank you! Please guys, don't advise what you don't know. This is for the safety of anyone who might be lurking. Some people might see bad advice and don't know who is or is not a reputable member. Please be careful. Same goes for the post you made about reusing syringes. Not good practice. Not Mickey, the person you responded too.

Well Im guessing your not really eating 8,000 calories/day but if you are the answer seems to be simple. Less cardio, more time lifting, and more calories. If you truly burn through that many then doing a cycle would be a waste. What people dont get is you can take all the gear in the world but if you dont eat then you have minimal gains that go away as soon as your off. Interesting thread though. I think most people dont do that much cardio in a week and thus dont know how to answer you. Being an athlete is different than being a rec body builder.

What kills me about the op's post is he says he gained 10lbs in 3 months when he was eating the "8000" calories...but it was not worth all the trouble? I really don't understand this at all...seems he has already been VERY successful with nutritional change alone yet has decided that somehow AAS is going to lend further gains with less work so he is going that route instead.

My advice would be to revisit your nutritional approach and start eating a solid diet again (the nutritional xspurts here may be able to give you an easier/better diet) and then after you have gained at least a solid 30 lbs consider using gear as at your current wieght gear would VERY likely cause some kind of injury due to your CNS/Joints/etc. inability to handle the load of increased work.

hes been to the doctor and eating 8k cals a day. he's not going to listen to you he's already here. at least help him do the inevitable correctly. I understand your opinion, but at some point you have to give in.

also, I didn't break any rules. I'm just offering what I think is the best advice to this person who is excluding diet from the equation.

8k calories a day didn't work. low T is very common. I recommend test. yes. food. training. and a proper beginner cycle will change his life forever. sorry if you disagree

blood work would need to be done to determine low test...

a cycle would change his life for about 12 weeks or so.. doubt it would be 'forever'...

  32. #32
I understand that maybe you're huge and having a hard time grasping the concept that his body is different and doesn't respond the same as yours. not even has the same natural potential and you're just acting butthurt. sorry my advice differs from your know all godly advice.

just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you're 100% correct. I also have an opinion and happen to think mine will be better for him.

  33. #33
I cycled at 20 perfectly and don't regret it a single bit, plenty of older guys on here would agree and wish they started younger.

like I said, this is my advice, I'm not calling it law or calling you out on yours being wrong. let it go.

Treating Andropause and running a cycle with ten times the normal amount of test produced is two completely different animals.

    Im still waiting for this.

Cape's curiosity is on track with what everyone else is thinking. Is he actually eating 8k/day? Is he? Im not suggesting hes lying, but many here have made similar mistakes in their arithmetic. It happens more often than you think - almost daily, actually. Perhaps not to that extreme, but you get my point.

Also mind-boggled about the diet comments, and absolutely agree with FFM.

Your guessing here. Not good. At 150lbs he needs to some things differently before he cycles. If he doesnt know how to eat then hes not going to keep any gains anyway.
