I need to marinate my meat. Maybe rub it.

Anyone have a good fajita rub/marinade they use have used, or tried? I need one for my chicken fajitas, queso, and guac for NFL draft weekend, and haven't found one yet in the recipe forum...

Yes, I'm going off the reservation with this diet, and no, I don't care.

oh shit, I got one for you. Use to make this when I had my deli...

on a cookie sheet, toss a couple chicken breasts on ( I usually use frozen) and pour a little water on the tray, bake for 25 mins @ 350

They wont be completely cooked but it allows for them to be cut easier.

Slice along the breast angle into 1/4" thick slices and toss into a pot with 1/4 cup butter and whatever seasoning you like (I use garlic and chili spice) and let simmer till cooked (usually 10 mins)

Amazing fajita chicken to be sure.

I'm sure if you rub it enough you'll end up with marinade...

Williams Sonoma has a whole shelf of rubs for your meat. They are awesome. I like to run my meat frequently. So you have to have the best.

Try this.... And again, I eyeball everything lol

Olive oil - enough to coat meat - 1/4 cup
Garlic powder - don't over power it
Cayenne pepper - don't over power it
    Adobo - maybe a teaspoon
    Paprika - couple teaspoons
    Turmeric powder - teaspoon
    Cumin - teaspoon to 1 1/2 tsp
    Water - maybe 1/4 cup

Made the recipe up last night and the family loved it. Made beef and chicken quesadillas

Did that; most of them come up from Emeril or Paula Deen, and 4 sticks of butter...
