Do you guys think they will ever be accepted in society? And become legal all across the world.

No and No.
But one must think if there allowing gay people to marry in some countries and allowing transgender kids to use uni sex toilets at school then anything is possible.
^ what's that got to do with the price of tea in China?
Yes, steroids will become legal. Just a matter of time.

My point is peoples views change and over time things get excepted. Did you no up untill the mid 60's a farmer could get a license to cull black people who roamed on his farm because the australian government classified black people as fauna.
Yes I agree it's just a matter of time maybe a LONG LONG time though
Steroid be legal? I don't think so... Even long long time i still dont think the people will change
Why would you think that, if anything I believe steroids are getting looked down upon more and more each day..i honestly cannot see why anyone would legalise steroids.....coming from a steroid user I would never legalise them, I see absolutely no benefit this would have to the general society, except all the extra cash in the governments pockets..Originally Posted by austinite
As humans we deserve the right to do what we want with our body's....however imagine we use that chain of thought for everything... Not a hope in hell IMO
However I do believe that hrt will become more recognised and accepted...
But legalising steroids for recreational use, no way!
It's already legal in some countries. We're just always last to legalize anything. Something bigger and better will come along...

Hey... just an opinion. I think it will become legal in some shape or form. Only time will tell either way...

It will become legal but you will have to go to the doctor to receive them. Medical TX must receive approval from the FDA and a valid medical reason must exist in order for TX to even be considered for application. After FDA has approved this medical TX then it is up to doctors to ensure that PTs meet medical guidelines in order to receive TX. Some of these TX appeal to individuals who medically do not need them. Doctors ensure that PTs who don’t medically need these procedures yet can afford them and are willing to pay for them receive them. This is already happening withTRT. Eventually through lobbying medical establishments get approval to administer TX to individuals that come to them seeking it and no longer have to medically validate TX. This was the case with breast implants, penis enlargements, plastic surgery and others.
I realise that......i was asking for reasoning behind your almost certain opinion, when has country's like America and Australia followed suit to county's far, far behind them....Originally Posted by austinite
Not even going to bother going into the effects on health steroids may have, but I can never see this happening mainly due to its effects on sports which our governments have spent all this time to protect..
It's easy to stand here and say just have tested and untested events, we know how well that works.....and that being the case who wants to watch someone run 10 seconds when they can see someone run 7 seconds. It would be unfair to push sportsman into steroids (worse than they already are).... Where is the line drawn, now that steroids are accepted, every child will be getting pumped with them as it will be there only hope of making it..
If anything I can see them coming down harder on steroids and testing will really start to catch up.
There is absolutely no benefit to legalising steroids, as already mentioned Hrt will be accepted and more widely recognised to treat those in medical need to provide a better standard of living...

We're discussing the legalisation of steroids here, I am asking you to elaborate on your option as to why you belief steroids will be legalised.Originally Posted by austinite
Maybe I don't feel like elaborating. I think something better will come along and it will be time to make money off of the consumer, the same way 100's of drugs became legal. It's not rocket science. Cialis will be first to come off the prescription list, for example, and that will probably be in the next 10 years. Steroids? Not sure when, but it will happen.

I honestly don't think AAS will ever become legalized for recreational or performance uses. In the coming years with gene doping and next generation SARMs, I actually see AAS becoming obsolete.
I think some will be especially the anti aging peptides bc as we live longer we are demanding a better quality if life.
Just like today, there are some prescriptions now sold OTC after patents expire. There is always change...but will be slow.
20 years ago no one was thinking pot would be legal. So who knows. I do see a lot of TRT commercials and men are just as vain as women. So who's not to say in 20 years aas would be legal under doctors supervision. Breast implants have no "health" benefit at least testosterone does.
I was thinking the same thing. With all the research that they are conducting to cure muscular dystrophy they are discovering treatments that are a lot more effective than AAS. They are studying diseases that cause aging, muscle wasting, hair lose, and others because they have unique gene markers that cause that disease. Once they are able to determine the gene that causes these conditions they can find ways to fix them. Several research papers by universities have stated that this research could lead to longer lives, “fountain of youth”, and “race of super men”.
