Exactly. You need no experience, nevermind sniper training. You can pick this up and, within minutes, tag a targer 1200 yards away...

    Ho-ly sh*t.

Got to hear him speak at a ceremony. Unbelievable experience even in the poor health he was in at the time.

just got a new Nightforce 2.5-10 last week. Still waiting for the rifle to mount it on. Couldn't pass it up - too good of a deal.

My iron match sights do just fine at 1k

All that thing does is basically pull the trigger when the sights are lined up. It Will work fine in a no wind condition if the rifle has the proper elevation and wind zero dialed in.

But....add some wind at longer ranges and even though that thing fires when the sights are aligned....guess what??? MISS!!!

    Cool tech though

lol. Skill? As if anyone really has skill. There are very few people with skill. Hit a target from a mile away and then talk about a skill-set. You firing range goers are clueless. The majority of people on earth could make great use of this rifle and it would be a life savor for 1000's upon 1000's of troops.

Don't knock it till you can man up and sling with the best of them. There's probably 40 truly talented and capable snipers on earth. Try calculating that percentage of the population.

    Meh, people love to complain

40 people with real skill? There are thousands of skilled shooter in the military, LE and civilian world. Being a good sniper has little do with shooting. I know plenty of highly trained operators in both the military and civilian word and I know plenty of good old boys with a 30-06 that can out shoot them.

Disagree. No there isn't. What you think is skilled is likely entry level compared to the 40 I speak of.

I have a friend who was a seal team 6 member for over 10 years before being hired to train Black Water troops. Would you consider a guy like this "entry level"?

Yes, in comparison to the folks I speak of. I have friends with higher credentials and when it comes to sniping, they just don't have it like the few out there.

Like I said, most people simply wouldn't understand or even fathom the possibilities. My comments arent intended to offend anyone. Just making a point that the chances of "Those who are complaining" being skilled is slim to none.

Great gun. Way to powerful but ey it's still on my wish list for the future, as for the scope, garbage, sad thing is people are gonna hunt with this, I understand the military using this technology but anyone besides that is rather pathetic. Takes the thrill/skill out of shooting.

It was good enough for David. It's good enough for me. Mine has been upgraded.
