Holy crap look at this gym!!

This is an Oxygen gym in Kuwait. This is where Big Ramy trains. God I wish there was a gym like this near me!

    How many running machines?!?

That place is too big, it's very very nice, and I bet the equipment is outstanding. But too many people in a gym. I prefer something smaller, where I can get to know the regular members.
In a gym with 60+ running machines, the membership base must be huge!

The weights part look a bit squashed compared to how open the rest of the gym is, I bet it costs a small fortune to join there all their custom signs etc wouldn 't have been cheap to make

Very nice. I'm with krugerr on this. I like iron dungeons. Crowded gyms suck.

    Very sick!!!

I've trained at smaller gyms. I don't really care for them. Often the equipment is very old and in poor condition. Franchised gyms generally have modern equipment and are usually (but not always) better maintained. Yes, they can be crowded which I really hate and there are far too many "posers". I agree, smaller gyms feel more personal but I never go to the gym to socialize and generally don't want to be bothered when I work out. I'm not there to make friends and most of the time I have a "don't bother me" look on my face when I work out. More people talk to my trainer than they do me.

Same here. The gym I go to has a lot of the older crowd with deeper pockets. I pay a little more money but its nice because its usually never crowded. Lots of newer machines/weights. There's a lot of hot Milfs there too working out in short tennis skirts. It's all going to end though when I move in November

one gym i go to i pay $100 per YEAR! of course it is a hole in the wall but its 5 minutes from my job and i can lift by myself with no shirt on.. hard to beat. the other one is a YMCA and its $45 per month.. thats where i go when i have a little more time and want some nicer equipment and amenities.. aka: hot tub

Wow. My gym is smaller than their hallway in comparison. And.....it usually smells like dirty balls. But it's home

My gf asked if it was in Vegas lol.

It's a bit much for a gym honestly but having all that shit at your fingertips for $60 a month ain't that bad either lol

That's pretty damn cheap. I know most average gyms in the UK are £30-£40 a month.

I'd pay the ~£40 monthly fee for that damn place!!! Must have cost a fortune in fittings and equipment.

True, it won't appeal to everyone. I'd like to see what membership numbers are over the first 3 years and see if they decline at all after the novelty wears off.

A little overwhelming for me, I wouldn't trade my power rack and weights for a year membership there I'll tell you that.

GYM looks pretty awesome. It def smells like ball sack in there.

I used to belong to Reebok Sports Club on upper west side in NYC. During the financial crisis I was able to become a member. It was 220 a month and a 2000 initiation that they waived because people were struggling. It was right around the block from ABC studios so a ton of actors and actresses used to go there. My building was literally 500 feet away. This place was ****ing crazy.

It had a gym, basektball courts, dance studio, rock climbing wall, salon, dry cleaners, private lockers for a 1000 a month where they did your laundry and cut hair, tanning, waxing, olympic pool, boxing gym, outside patio deck for sun tanning on top of the building a bar and a cafe with free wifi. Water coolers with cucumber or oranges. Then there was an outdoor track that went around the rooftop of the building which was so ****ing awesome to run around with other buildings surroding you.

They had professional trainers for every aspect. You wanted to become a better basketball player they had a guy who played briefly in NBA and n Europe who could fine tune your game. Evry trainer looked ridiculous both men and women. Place was so awesome.

They had their own private code to get into that locker room. I was only able to see it once when getting a tour. That part of the city was for the super rich. I didnt belong in there. The only reason I paid was because the basketball competition was pretty intense. Most of the basketball players were average guys just paying so they could play at such a high level. Pros came down all the time to play in pick up games.
