Can I stary using HCG, only when I want to get her pregnant?

Hi!

Just a quick one.
I have been on trt for around 10 months now.
I have not used any HCG. When my balls first shut down, they hurt a bit and i lost about 1/4 of the size.

Anyways, in a couple of years me and my partner will try for a baby.. Can I just use HCG then, or should i get on it now?

Timing is a matter of preference, I think. A smaller dose would help to minimize the E2 spike that can accompany HCG, but that may not be enough to matter to you.

I use 350 units of HCG every 3 days. For pregnancy you're going to need more than just HCG. HMG is a must. The longest road is getting off all drugs and letting your own body recover (can take many months). Or, you can do just HCG (no TRT), and let your FSH rise while your'e still stimulating the testes to produce testosterone (so you may be able to avoid lack of libido - which is kinda necessary when trying to conceive). There are methods that include Clomid, but I have read some don't like the side effects. You're not going to have any side effects from HMG/HCG. I haven't tried any of these methods personally, but these are just some ideas.

I have conceived two kids on Clomid only. For the second pregnancy I worked with a urologist that didn't see a need for hcg, he just gave me a script for many boxes of clomid. If no success the plan was for me to come back in for a semen analysis, but since she got pregnant that was scraped and I started TRT. The first couple months I would have cialis on hand, my testosterone levels were extremely low even after a few weeks on clomid at 42 ng/dL; add the pressure of trying to have sex on an ovulation schedule and it was not very enjoyable.

No shit, just Clomid? I have a few questions if you don’t mind. Were you on HCG before stopping your TRT, what dose of clomid were you taking, and how long were you on it until she conceived? Did you discuss being on HCG and clomid together?

Sure. I was not on hCG prior to stopping and have not used it for many years. When I was using it I approached it from the maintaining testicular mass angle so HPTA regeneration is easier post cycle. I did not use it for PCT a la Rich Piana. It simply does not restore the HPTA, just the T part. The urologist didn't see much value in hCG but I did not press him for specifics.

I guess it was a little over 4 months until conception. I keep on the stuff until a pregnancy test confirmation was had a few weeks post ovulation. About 5 months of use total. 100mg QD then last month dropped to 75mg QD. Typical clinical dosage is 25-50mg QD, but the Dr was cool with me running higher based on my prior experience. He gave me a year supply, but I guess wrote the script for 50mg qd.
