Yesterday i went swimming in the sea. The air was -15 celsius or something and sea water was 2 degrees celsius. I went in 3 times, for like 30 sec each time, and sat in the sauna in between. Ive only done winter swimming once before and it was 10 years ago.
SO today i feel like little cold all day, in places where im never cold. But no biggie. In the evening i go to the gym, i start incline benching and usually when i do incline bench i sweat minorly only, but today, i was dripping in cold sweat, my hands were shaking abit and head was dizzy. At one point when i was like squatting down between exercises and wanted to stand up i even was afraid i might pass out for a second. It got abit better by the end of the workout, but still felt wierd abit after and till i went o sleep. I just woke up so lets see what the day brings.
But anyone any ideas or had similar expirience? Abit scary for me because cold sweat, dizzyness, shortness of breath like how i felt can indicate heart problems. Maybe my old ex drug addict heart is not meant to be cold plunging lol
