Registered Mail (Same story different person)

I have read several threads on registered mail, most posted last year. I have the slip to go pick up a package at the postoffice. Am I safe to sign for?

dont get me started on registered mail....i sent $ to my source over 3 weeks ago and its still not there

Five years ago I became very good friends with the postmaster at my local post office. Now when my stuff comes in, i'll call him up and ask if everything is "cool" ... he recently retired and now I have it shipped to my home. never had a problem and everything comes in within a week or so. how much stuff is in that box? ...its risky. pay some bum of the street $50 to go in there and get it for you.

At the Top Right Corner of the slip, there is a line/box that reads "Sender"

BTW, just because you get this thing and sign for it, doesn't mean you knew what it was. And if they wanted you, they would conduct a "Controled Delivery"

E-Mail your source and ask the dimensions of the box, think if rationally the post office would have a reason to not be able to deliver it. If it was me, personally i would go get my gear. Signing for it doesn't admit that you know what it is. Wouldn't hurt to spit out the line, crystal clear, "I'm not expecting any packages, I wonder what this is" right before you sign for it.

It was small enough to fit in a mail box, came from Uk AirSure Delivery as opposed regular mail

don't worry, go sign for it, i just sweated out the same thing myself, i went and signed for it, and no big deal

My source tells me don't b/c he has never heard of anyone having to sign for his packages.

if it's an international package and you got a tracking number, you'll have to sign, also if they tried to deliver to your house and you weren't there for an international, you have to sign

If the pack is to big to leave in your box they will leave a slip for you to pick it up at the post office.
