no, use nothing less than 91% alcohol, anything less doesnt kill bacteria

peroxide doesn't kill all bacteria....neither does alcohol swabbing, really, but alcohol is the way to go.

For the brief period of time of exposure to alcohol that swabbing gives, it's more of a just a good "wiping away" of any microbes. It'll kill some, but in any event, it's much closer to sterile than not using anything.
