As you know apple have just released the "Ipod Shuffle".
Theres currently a hack out which makes your existing ipod into the newly released "shuffle".

Ha, clever.
I'm going to highjack. My Dell Dj is messed up. The shuffle function seems to be faulty as the order of the songs never differs from a previous 'shuffle'. I'm curious as to whether anybody on here has one with the same problem. Not exactly a big deal, but it gets annoying.

Is there a software (rom) revision being offered by dell for the device? They may have released a fix for that problem.Originally Posted by c_ville
There's already a 'random' preset in the regular ipod that will just shuffle all of your tracks.
spose you didnt get the joke then. oh well.Originally Posted by rambo
I got it. Put down the fish and chips. I just wanted to mention that the Ipod is capable of it, in case anyone didn't know.Originally Posted by MESSY_UK

But I'll try that. Thanks.
And I shall look for that as well. If neither the first suggestion or this one doesn't work, I'm hoping that the warranty will give me a new oneOriginally Posted by TheMudMan

I'd suggest looking for "firmware" as aposed "software (rom) revision" but my all means look for both.Originally Posted by c_ville
