How do I know safe from unsafe places to order online. Seems like such a risk to me.

It is a risk. That's the only answer I have to offer. If they sell British Dragon you can go to the British Dragon website to see if they are legit.
Trial and error or word of mouth bro.
i'm not so concerned with getting bunk stuff. I just don't want to get caught in the process. Just not sure how the whole process works I guess. I'll keep researching
Here is the process in a nut shell. You order it. They package it, then you hope it makes it through customs. If it is a small order and it gets caught in customs, 9 out of 10 times you only get a letter from them informing you they kept your package.Originally Posted by wrestler152

If the PO box is in your real name there is no difference.
Why not go to an opensourcepost forum and get a well refered source? There are a lot of good guys out there.
PO-box is a must IMO...i have had some customs trouble and i dont want that again...i dont get the nice seizure letters your talking about...its come to interrogation or you will be picked up!!
Ever see the drama at Outlaw? A guy learns to homebrew. Starts a "lab", for lack of a better word, does good for a while, gets lots of bumps, then a short time later people are crying scammer, because the guy was an idiot and had no idea what he was doing. However if you don't have any other options I guess you have to go that route.Originally Posted by indica
I'm kinda new to all this. How do I go about an opensource post. Buying gear online seems like the way to go. I pay way to much for it apparently after looking around. Thanks for the help
I pm'd you a good open source board. If you Find a source your interested in, pm a mod here and check them, its that easy.
Messing with an open source posting dealer is nuts. If you have a local source that is legit stay with it even if you pay a few $$ more. Local sources tend to have human grade also.
There are good source forums with no bull****...i agree the most of em suck,i have worked thru maybe 5 .
If you buy homebrew you only have yourself to blame...
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET TO A good open source board
agree w/ sean w , trial & error. but i got my net source from a few people at the gym & a personal friend of mine who asked around and the majority said the name of the source that i get it from now. GOOD LUCK! ASK AROUND FACE TO FACE
Yeah, just type the URL in your browser and there you go.Originally Posted by GIROLAMO

Whats Are U Talking About
If the British dragon website shows they are valid will that tell you that they are atleast relatively trust worthy?? And how are the british dragon products by the way??
stupidhippo, the products of BD are excellent, and also there site tells you if they have supplied the source with products, usually that means that they will be selling LEGIT BD products. However, it doesn't mean that your package will not get seized etc..
indica check PMS!
All the british dragon site tell you is ifthey are an authorised supplier. Some may still be selective scammers. Just my 2 cents.

Either themselves, or heard about it happening to someone else before?
