    ground turkey

    Hi,

Is it ok to eat ground turkey breast instead of grilled chicken precontest( from time to time)? Perdue sells some ground turkey 7% fat. Can I eat it or should I stay away from it?

    Thanks

As long as it fits with your nutrient and calorie requirements, there is no reason you can't.

It's a good choice IMO...lower in sodium than chicken...

go with 99% fat free ground turkey. mix w/ worshire sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder for some great burgers(on WHOLE wheat buns). 4 ounce pattie is 110 cals and 23g protein!

OMG! That sounds delicious. I'm eating white rice and tuna right now. PPW meal. 1/2 cup dried 7 ounce package of fish.
