    Antibiotics

Getting ready to start a cycle of

    Test Cyp 500mg wk
    Winny 50mg ed

While playing basketball with some friends I got elbowed in the nose and got a pretty bad cut. Went to the Dr. and he prescribed me some antibiotics. Just wondering if this will effect the cycle in any way?

Should not effect you at all. They are meant to help

AB's are meant to help thus they cannot affect a cycle..

    great logic..

but yeah just had a question about that in my test and it was like what AB has anto-androgenic activity.. I really cant remember it right now but it was not any of the more common ones.

Uh...It is possible that they might have a small effect on the anabolism aspect, but probably not (from the info I have gathered ifrom derms regarding inhibition of specific proteins synthesis). The more relevant issue is that YOU MIGHT NEED THEM FOR THE CUT...as the MD said! Priorities boys....Priorities. You should't even have to think about it.

Tetracyclines work by inhibition of proteins.

Not the inhibition of proteins...protein sysnthesis (anabolism). And when I say specificity...I mean bacterial specfic. Again, from what I get from my derm is that its effect is minimal on muscle cell anabolism if any. I have to take the advice of an MD, since their is no peer reviewed, scientific data substantiating on-cycle and on-AB simultaneously.

Calling all those who have used antibiotics such a tetracycline or erythromycin....ever have a cycle NOTICIBLY be affected? It would be nice if there was some clinical trial to substantiate this, but the confounders presented are numerous and genetic specificity of the clientele would probably throw off any results if they are minimal.

tetracyclines and macrolides(erythromycine) are fine when on .. should be atleast. I really doubt they will effect your cycle.
