I know there is a way to cook hard boiled eggs so they peel easily without the shell crumbling into tiny pieces.
please someone let me know.

sounds like you may be cooking them too long...i had the same prob
1. put in a pot of water and turn on heat
2. when water boils turn off heat and set timer for 20 min
3. when timer goes, run them under cold water for 3 or 3 min.
I do them 2 dozen at a time and they all peel well
Put about a 2 tablespoons of table salt in while you are boiling the eggs and it make them peel easier, it also does not raise the sodium count on the eggs. I ran into the same problem in the past hope this helps out bro
Keep throwing up steel!!
untouchable
that is basically the way I do it and they peel fine. I think the key is the cold water.Originally Posted by dive_kid

after they have cooked, hit them on something until they are cracked good then roll them while applying pressure then peel, never had any troubel this way.
yeah, dive kid got it right.
cold water is the key i was having alot of trouble before I asked my mom what the fack to do.
Mine peal very easily. I let them cool down first, then I tap one of the ends on the counter until it cracks a little. I then insert my thumb between the shell and white at the crack in the end and I run my thumb down the length of the egg. 9/10 times this very easily sheds the shell off of the egg in two big pieces. I hope this description makes sense.
