    They friggin ruin it!

    There are usually dried apricots and dried mangos. I think you're talking about the apricots -- we feed those to our dogs. Don't feed em' the raisins though... they're bad for their digestive system.

    I like the pineapple & Bananas though

    So you'reeeeeeeee the reason they put them in there! There was probably a poll 10 years ago "What should we put in trail mix" and some oddball said "hey I know! Raisins!"

    i think raisins make trail mix what it is...great!!!!...also some brands have smarties in them too...that is the bomb...as for dried apricots and pineapple...that is crap...

    Imagine if you actually went downtown (with the lights out) and came across something small squishy wrinkled and not attached to anything. Then turn the lights on and BAM! it's a rasin. If it were Jessica Simpson I would probably keep going.
