Excess estrogen

I got bloodwork done, can you evaluate my results, I am 17:

Total T-550 (200-1000)
Shbg-17 (7-50)
Total estrogen-195 (up to 130)
TSH- 4 (.35-5)(High TSH like mine means low thyroid function, 95% have under 3.5)
Progestrone-1.2(up to 1)

Do you think my way above normal value for estrogen is causing my serious mental difficulties, my sex drive is not too bad. Please take my thread seriously even though I am only 17, please don't say I am underage. I just want an honest evaluation and help from experienced forum members knowledgeable in hormonal imbalances.

Well first of all you are going to get banned for only being 17, you need to be 18 to be a member here so read fast. Is this Estrogen level as a result of a steroid cycle ? At 17 I sure fvcking hope not !!!! That TSH level is not good at your age either. I am 51 and I have a growth on my Thyroid that causes the same problem and I am on meds for the rest of my life because of it.

They wont ban you because of the thread they will ban you because of your age bro. Now what is the Dr saying about all of this ? I mean you are producing a lot of Test naturally at your age and Estrogen can be a natural consequence of that.

I am 5"7 and 125, though I am definitely done growing with all that estrogen. I have not seen an endocrinologist yet but have an appointment. However I feel tired all the time and have severe brain fog, my mental abilities are terrible compared to what they used to be. Estrogen is known to negatively affect the thyroid and memory as well. I am thinking all of this is connected to my estrogen, do you agree?

Ask your Doctor for an aromatase inhibitor. Or an estrogen blocker. He will
perscribe something to get your values back in line. Mine got as high as 257.

There is no mental fog or any mental problems associated with estro at 200.
or even 300. However you might start getting fem characteristics.

They are trying to sell you something. You should talk to your parents or guardian. Concentrate on your studies and think about college. This is

The reason I am asking about this is because I am extremely tired and confused all the time, and it has caused me to suffer in my school performance. I am looking to finally correct the problem this summer now that I have time. If the estrogen is not directly the cause of this, perhaps it is indirectly the cause through worsening my thyroid function. Eventually all this estrogen is going to cause full-blown hypothyroidism, if untreated. I'm wondering if any other males with excess estrogen have felt the same symptoms as I have.

I had high estrogen levels last year.

My test level was 735 at 24 and I am surprised that your test level was only 550 at 17 as my test levels are somewhat lower then they were at 17.

Anyway.....I did not have those symptoms at all that you talked about.

My sex drive was starting to suffer on top of all of these little pains I was having in my connective tissue in my extremities(hands,feet, and knees) and thats while I had a high test level.

The doctor put me on progesterone for 4 months(to even the progesterone/estrogen balance) and that knocked it out..although I feel that my diet and stress may have been the ultimate culprit.

Are you getting enough sleep and eating a good diet??

You are going to have to get this treated by a Doctor using blood tests followed by more blood tests. There is no 'magic answer'. Experienced
Doctor trying different things and monitoring their results. Good Luck.
